The Christmas Marketplace

If you’re anything like me you can’t possibly believe Labor Day has come and gone and that the warm summer days have changed into the crisp cool air of autumn. To me, Labor Day is the end of summer and the beginning of fall. The sunsets from our deck are beautiful, but the sun is setting earlier each day and the evenings will be getting longer and longer. That means less time outdoors and more time to work on projects for the Christmas Marketplace.

Because Thanksgiving is so late this year the Christmas Marketplace will be Friday, December 6th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, December 7th from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. Friday has been very busy and we will try to do a better job at our checkout. We don’t plan to run out of anything this year (we made more pickles) so if you are not able come until Saturday morning you won’t miss a thing.

We have been working since January making things, we hope you will like. We try to include something for everyone – family, friends, children, dogs, cats, and birds.

There will not be a brunch or lunch this year, but be sure to visit the “to-go” bakery and deli where you will find delicious sweets and treats prepared for you to take home and enjoy.

We look forward to visiting with you and renewing old acquaintances!

Gigi does such a great job turning the Church sanctuary into a beautiful country Christmas Marketplace and we will endeavor to keep up our reputation of “the best Christmas fair we go to”.

Check the Calendar of Events page at barmillscommunitychurch.org or find us on Facebook.
We only accept checks and cash.
