Our New Pastor
I am so happy that you came on our web page today. You could say that it is officially under construction, so please check back often for new, updated information.
I recently started as the pastor of the Bar Mills Community Church on September 9, 2025. I am thrilled to be serving the faith community in the Buxton Maine area and working with my sister churches in the community.
I am a life long native of Kittery, Maine and I started on a faith journey with Christ at the age of 11 years old. I was raised by parents who believed in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, but I met Him for myself at a summer revival meeting in Portsmouth, NH. What a blessing the Lord has been to me!
I look forward to meeting you at some point in time. Our joyful services are on Sunday mornings at 10am at the Bar Mills Community Church 13 Hermit Thrush Drive in Buxton.ME. It is an important time for us because it allows believers to come together and worship God. Scripture tells us of the importance of coming together in community and worshiping God: Hebrews 12:28 "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe." It is truly humbling to get together and worship an entity that is completely out of our range of control and complete understanding. Our very act of worship is through faith, believing in this force of Holiness that we cannot see. It is a breath of fresh air to have to reach beyond our finite range of understanding and accept that someone who created the universe and knows all things about us, loves us beyond measure. I am touched to know of the depth of God's love for all of us. Please let us gather and worship our God together.
