Bringing the Spirit of Thanksgiving to local families

For November we will be collecting donations to purchase Hannaford Gift Cards for families in our community who need some help this time of year.  If you know a person or family who could use our help, please let us know by leaving a message at 929-3535 or by filling out the form below.

Dear Friends,
 
As the Bar Mills Community Church begins making plans to once again feed those in our community who might otherwise go hungry on Thanksgiving Day, I am reaching out to ask for your assistance to make this possible. At a time when many people are focused on giving thanks for the bounty in their lives, others are feeling the pain of need.
 
Bar Mills Community Church will be collecting funds to purchase Hannaford Gift Cards for families in our community that have fallen on hard times. This is a way of not only feeding those who are hungry, but also to show kindness and support to those who are feeling the pain of poverty and misfortune. Won’t you please help make it possible for this annual charitable tradition to continue?
 
Last year, we fed 10 families on Thanksgiving Day this number is expected to increase this year. Bar Mills Community Church relies on generous donations from caring people like you to provide this important service to the less fortunate residents of our community.
 
Can we count on you for support toward reaching this critical goal? Any donation, no matter how large or small, will make a difference.
